'Finding the Way'

There are several layers that make up this painting. Each layer adding depth by intensifying the colors under it, making new colors, hiding some and exposing others. Regardless of the endless amounts of layering, you can still see that first layer. It's like it was trying to find it's way back to the top. It's like in life, we have many layers that makes us who we are. No matter what is underneath or what gets piled on top of you, you always have to find the way back to you.
